There are many problems with the spot color pallet but I have had no problems with the fixed pallets. What works: spot colors made in Corel's Custom Spot color pallet. I have been able to make a new pallet and add my previously created spot colors into it too but the names will not stay when I export to other programs. However, If I leave the spot colors I make IN the spot color pallet, they sometimes duplicate themselves with new names such as: SEAFOAM duplicating as SEAFOAM(1) or SEAFOAM(2). You can tell it is an actual spot color because it has the little white square in the lower left corner of the color chip and the name shows up in other programs. Here is the problem, The only way to make an actual spot color in the editor and have it seen as a spot color is by editing or adding to the "Custom Spot colors" pallet. I need to make a "named spot color" pallet like the Pantone or TOYO color pallets.
